Morong 43

The issue regarding the 43 health workers alleged of being members of communist rebels has been the talk of the town this past few days.
The arrest happened last February 6 at Morong, Rizal during their health training session.

Many family members of the accused health workers are filing case against the military for torturing and molesting some of them. But to defend themselves, Philippine Army stated that the arrest of the 43 accused member of the NPA is legal having been caught them in the act of possession of illegal firearms and explosives.

And, honestly that's the dilemma in which Philippines is experiencing during the time of arresting people who have done something against the law. Filipinos tend to deny and deny it where in fact, the evidence and the proof of their doing is already there.

different style!!

I have read three newspapers yesterday (January 27,2010). These newspapers were from an online publication of different popular universities in Manila, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, University of Sto. Tomas and Ateneo De Manila University to name a few.

Like people or fashion to be specific, making a publication deals with different and unique style and lay-outs. Based on the three newspapers I've read, I could say that even though they differ in style, the writers still possess one thing in common and that is their thought and opinions.

The writers in each publication may used their own sty in writing the articles, the way they expressed their feelings specially with the issue of Maguindanao Massacre and politics so to speak, they still convythe same thoughts and feelings towards it.

Ang Pamantasan, paper of PLM discussed about their ex university's president and
Maguindanao Massacre ; on the otherhand, The Varsitarian, organ of UST focused on newsfeature writing and The Guidon, ADMU's paper focused both in editorial and sorts writing.

Different Faces of Devotees of the Feast of Black Nazarene

It has been part of the Filipino tradition to celebrate the Feast of the Black Nazarene which is currently at Quiapo Church. Black Nazarene is a life-sized, dark color wooden sculpture of Jesus Christ. And it is said to be miraculous by lots of people specially the devotees.

This feast is celebrated every 9th of the January, while the novena was held every Friday night starting from the first quarter of the year. It became also significant because as a part of the procession of the Black Nazarene, devotees walk with bare feet, without shoes or sandals as to imitate Jesus on His walk to the Mount Cavalry.

And this tradition really shows how religious and faithful Filipinos are. Some people or devotees of Nazarene hopes that their wishes will soon be grant by the Nazarene. Some go there just to experience for once how the devotees experienced when they join the procession. And some take the advantage to get a bigger income by selling different souvenirs and memorabilia.

And tomorrow will be the 403rd year of the celebration of the Black Narazene and hopefully everything's gonna be fine.

Blogging

I really don't know that I could make blogs like this.

But it actually teach me how to share my thoughts and experiences I have for almost half a month.

I will still continue doing this and hope I can inspired people with what I have written here.

Gifts

Maybe all of us wait for gifts last christmas.

But I actually haven't receive any gift last Christmas.

But my family were complete and happy even though we lack one of my brother because he died last 2008. It's been two Christmas that we haven't have him.

Election

Whenever election happens here in our country, killings on different side occurs.

For instance was the Ampatuan Massacre.

I just wish that the government and also those who want to be politicians in the near future, be fair and wouldn't allow that to happen again.

Future

What might gonna happen this year 2010?

I would place myself in the place of some famous fortune tellers here in our country.

I think Philippines will only experience prosperity if we become hardworking. In terms of politics still corruption is there and it won't get away with politics.

The Death of Actors and Actresses in the Philippines

Death really comes whenever, wherever and in whatever was it can go.

Francis Magalona, Johny Delgado and former president Cory Aquino were only few of those celebrities who died last year.

It only shows that even though you have all the means like money and powers you still can't escape the reality-- death!

Paranormal Activity

During the whole vacation, One of the things that I'd accomplished was to watch all the movies I want to. And one f which was the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY.

I watched it because I was so curious on what was really the story and was it really happened?

I think I watched it for almost five times and I wasn't scared but I was so amazed on the effects they've used in the film.

That only shows that technology has a bigger effect on us people in so man different ways.

Pinoy Big Utol

It seems awkward that Pinoy Big Brother has so much revelations during this season.

They have two houses and a different way of nomination and eviction and also a bigger prizes for the big winner.

And one thing that gets me think so awkward was the new big brother who is big utol.

He was far different from big brother and to tell you guys honesty, I don't like him! Though he's cool, I still don't want him compare to kuya.

Significant Events Of 2009

Katrina Halili also marked 2009 for her video scandal with Hayden Kho. This situation reawakened the eagerness of every women of the society to fight for what they think is right and of course for their dignity.

And I salute Ms. Katrina for what she has done. Her decision of filing a case against Hayden was a right action.

I just hope that she will get the justice she was seeking for!

New Year! New Life!

It's not new for us to have sets of new year's resolution as part of our ways of welcoming a new stage and year of our life.

But for me I shouldn't make a list of resolution for the whole year because I want to make sure that each resolution I have will we fulfilled, so I decided to make it by week.

And this week I have three resolutions. First, I have to attend the last early, next I won't skip one class and lastly, I will do all my works on time.

Start of Classes

I'm not yet ready for school yet. After a long vacation, still I feel so tired of all the things I've done.

But I actually have no choice but to attend the class for the reason that I have to submit some of my assignment and requirements.

Actually I really don't enjoy as much as expected of my vacation.

And thank God that my teachers give us consideration.

Significant Events Of 2009

One of the big issues that came up during the ast quarter of 2009 was probably the Maguindanao Massacre. Because of this massacre, several peoplewere killed helplessly. And the saddest part is that it happened just because of politics.

President Arroyo decided to declare Martial Law in Maguindanao.

It is not in authority to killed 57 people helplessly.

We should be aware of what was happening around us!

January 1

Alas!

2010 has come.

I've already left all my bad experience I had durng 2009.And I'm already want to start a new and better life now.

But wait, to start my new year, our whole family went to San Mateo, Rizal. It's actually a sort of reunion of the family.

I was so excited that day because my father would surely see again his brother that he haven't seen for such a long time. It was a really great experience!

WEdding

Oppps! It's not what you think.

I just want to look back to the times when Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas both share their vows of love together.

I find it so sweet to see two people promising that they will love each other forever.

And if I were to choose a love story of mine in the future, I would choose something like them!

Significant Events Of 2009

Ondoy became an instrument for us Filipino to show the UNITY that lies within our hearts.

It was one of the events of 2009 that marked every lives of Filipinos. I won't ever forget that. It taught me how to be strong not only for myself but for my family as well.

Our family was one of the victims of this typhoon. Our house has been destroyed a bit . I've experienced not to eat for almost two days.

But on the other part, I feel so lucky because I'm not like other victims who lose a members of their family.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Days have passed so fast. Christmas and New Year was already over.

I want to take this chance to share and remind each of us the real essence and meaning of Christmas.

During the Christmas Eve, there was this old guy roaming around in the middle of the night. He was begging for food and even old clothes that he can wear to protect him on the cold of the night. With just a look at his pale face, I can conclude that he's sick. And he can't live alone in the streets.

So we decided to look for some clothes that we won't wear anymore and some excess food that we have. And he was very happy with what we gave him.

And because of that experience, I've learned that it's better to give at least a bit of what you have to others and i feel relieve that I've help someone like him.

Another Birthday!

I don't know whether to attend or not to the debut of one of my closest friends. It's not because I don't have money to buy her a present but becausev of the fear of what might gonna happen on the party.

But I wanna take the opportunity to see my high school friends and classmates there.

When I and my bestfriend arrived at the venue, I can't help but to feel out of place with my old classmates. It's maybe because we haven't seen each other for a long time since we graduated.

Yet as the party went on, I've learned that I'm just being paranoid of what was happening.

A BIRTHday!!!

It's a happy day to live! A celebration for mama's birthday !

Everybody seemed so busy preparing the food and other things that might be needed for the party. Mama planned to cook spaghetti, pancit bihon, meat balls and lumpiang shanghai. And for drinks, a pack or two of orange juice was enough for her visitors.

At exactly 12 in the afternoon, her co-members in the church came for lunch. Actually mama expected that many of her colleagues will come but only five or ten came.

After a one and tiring day, there's just this thought that hit my mind.

What if we don't spend too much for the food?
What if we just prepare food just enough for the members of our family?
Why we have to celebrate it that way if we can have it simple?

I know that day was so special for mama, but we should be practical nowadays. And besides she's now old enough to have that kind of party.

A Prosperous New Year to Start

Another year had passed and a new year to start comes.

I have done so much in the past few days in preparation to welcoming new year(2010). Though my body's tired of all the things I've done , I still enjoyed celebrating this important occasion with my whole family.

We haven't had so much foods in our table but still we celebrated it happy and complete.

I prepare some new year's resolution and I hope I can fulfill everything in God's grace.

One of which is to become more keen in observing what might gonna happen on every decision I make.

happy new year!
